GWO Training Standard refers to a set of safety and technical training standards developed by the Global Wind Organisation (GWO). These standards are used internationally to ensure that personnel working in the wind energy industry—especially onshore and offshore—are properly trained to perform their tasks safely and efficiently.

Standard Purpose
Basic Safety Training (BST) Entry-level training focused on safety awareness and emergency response.
Basic Technical Training (BTT) Introductory training in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems for technicians.
Advanced Rescue Training (ART) Covers rescue operations in wind turbine environments.
Enhanced First Aid (EFA) Builds on BST First Aid with advanced emergency response skills.
Blade Repair Specialized training for inspection and repair of turbine blades.
Slinger Signaller Training for lifting operations and signaling during crane operations.
Service Lift User Training for service technicians who are using the service lift in the wind turbines.
