KANDA IN DEFENCE
The war in Ukraine has made one thing clear: innovation can’t wait. To stay ahead, armed forces must accelerate production, procurement, and, most critically, training.
Traditional shooting simulators often fall short. They’re tied to a single location, overly complex, and come with a heavy price tag.
The result? Too few soldiers receive the training they need to face the realities of the modern battlefield.
Kanda’s VR shooting simulator offers a safe, scalable way to prepare professionals for real-world threats.
THE shooting simulator
Imagine the simplest setup for training more people in shooting skills. As cheap and scalable as possible?
Kanda’s shooting simulator is designed to provide realistic training without the complexity and high cost of traditional systems.
The concept consists of:
- An airsoft gun
- A Bluetooth triggered device
- A movement sensor
- A mobile VR headset
THE CONCEPT
What would be the most straightforward setup to train more people in counter-drone defense? As simple, cheap, and scalable as possible?
This was the challenge Kanda set out to solve. Recently, we introduced the first version designed to provide realistic training without the complexity and high cost of traditional systems.
The first version consists of:
- An airsoft gun
- A recoil sensor
- A mobile VR headset
